Understanding Menopause and Strategies to Help You Cope (For all staff)

This course is for anyone wanting a better understanding of Menopause: What it is? How it affects the body? Signs and symptoms, HRT - Non-HRT treatments, Advice on Alternative Therapies, Strategies and Advice on dealing with Menopause symptoms.

At the end of the course, you will have a better understanding of Menopause. Ideas on the types of treatments you can have and advice on simple life changes and strategies you can use to help cope with the symptoms of menopause.

Managing Menopause Naturally. (For anyone not able to take HRT or prefers not to)

This course is for anyone wanting to learn more about Menopause and are looking for natural solutions to manage menopause symptoms.

Course attendees will learn about the key hormones and the impact they have during menopause on your body. The physical and emotional impact these changes have on a person. Advice on Alternative Therapies and how they can help during menopause. Advice and Guidance on diet – exercise – supplements – essential oils to support the body through menopause.

How to develop a Menopause/Andropause Friendly Setting (For Managers, Senior Leadership Team/ Menopause Workforce Champions)

This course is for anyone working in HRT Depts, Senior Leaders/Managers, or anyone with SLT responsibilities, who wants to develop a Menopause Friendly Workplace/Setting.

Course attendees will gain a better understanding of Menopause: What it is? How it affects the body? Signs and symptoms. They will learn an employer's legal responsibilities to support any employee going through Perimenopause – Menopause – Post Menopause. Also how to support employees by making reasonable adjustments to the workplace, and advice on the role of a Menopause Champion in the workplace/setting.

Understanding and Coping with Work-Load Stress in the workplace (For anyone wanting advice and help coping with stress, anxiety, and workload pressure)

This course is for anyone wanting to gain an understanding of what workload stress is? How it can present in a person e.g. stress, anxiety and/or depression?

Course attendees will learn how to recognize if they or others are suffering from workload stress. How to identify signs and symptoms? Advice on the types of help available, and how alternative therapies can support well-being. There will be practical activities to provide a range of strategies and techniques for course attendees to use for time management, relaxation, stress and anxiety.

On completion of one/or more of the above courses, follow-on 1:1, paired or small group workshop sessions can be provided in the workplace or at an alternative venue, for course attendees or other employees. (Please either speak to me on the day or contact me to arrange these sessions.)

All courses will be in a workplace setting or alternative venue and will be face-to-face unless especially requested and agreed.

Training Course Prices

Will vary depending on the course delivered. The cost of In-House training will be priced by the number of people attending in total not individually. The larger the group the lower the cost.

 

Prices per person start from:

  • Full-Day £125.00
  • Half-Day £65.00
  • Twilight 2 hrs (one-off) £45.00
  • Twilight 2 X 2hrs £80.00

Workshops Prices

Will vary depending on whether the workshop is delivered Face-To-Face or On-Line. At an outside venue or in the workplace/setting. The cost of In-House workshops will be priced by the number of people attending in total not individually. The larger the group the lower the cost.
